thanks you two for hugs and ginger wine but couldn't drink alchohol at the minute

Hope your sickiness is beginning to pass Taxi. Hows the chesticles?

Give yourself some nice fresh air, just make sure that you dont go out half naked I know what you NOrthern Girls are like.

Friend of mine ( with v advanced lung C ) has just got back from a Holistic Centre of some description in Bristol so must go round to see him and find out all about it. He sounds very 'up' after it, so must have an open mind, he feels good so thats the main thing.

    Hello

    Great news on the savings

My friends Mum is going through the same at the moment although about a year ahead. What you said earlier reminded of what she described the chemo cycle as - traffic lights: Week 1 red week 2 amber week 3 green.

Have a good restful day xx

that is a very apt description ..have slept quite a bit today thanks

glad your friend is feeling upbeat and better in himself.A shame he's so advanced but great that they can make him feel better within himself.

Not getting out for fresh air as quite weak and it's bloody freezing..went into garden for something before but soon came back in I was frozen.

Am looking forward to getting out but guess will need to wait until wednesday for DHs day off as noone to take me anywhere

Afternoon Mrs T, I thinks there are a few coughs and colds around with the constantly changing weather. Perhaps a bit of lemon and honey - did you manage to get some Manuka?

You are doing brilliantly Taxi - hope the sicky feelings and chestiness soon pass.

The weather is AWFUL - dead blowey so dread to think what it's like in Blackpool - it's windy there when it's calm anywhere else. It rained all morning but has brightened up the last hour or so - still freezing though.

Great news on the mortagage and saving front.

I felt a right fool yesterday - went to Asda and got a new toaster (seems a bargain - 4 slice toaster for £20) - went to pay with my reward cc card - put pin in 3 times - wouldn't have it at all - so froze it out. I had to use my debit card - I was baffled - got home and realised I'd used an old card I thought I'd cancelled instead of my current one - THAT's why the pin wouldn't work DOH. I have no recolation of putting this card in my purse at all, it's usually in my paper box upstairs!!
