Just checking in from a rainy truck stop on the M62 , eee its grim oop north . . but not as grim as down south when I left at 0100!
Taxi, don't try and cram a load of stuff in so soon after treatment, you know that it will tire you out so be careful not to add to its effects.

Of course, you don't need me to tell you to take it easy today. But I will do so anyway :D

    Good Morning, Taxi

Haven't been around much for about a year and am amazed how much catching up I've had to do on my favourite diaries:eek:, hundreds of pages and new versions of all of them. Worth it though to find out how everyone is progressing and to read of successes big and small. Luckily I don't need much sleep, I was reading most of the night:rotfl:

I can't tell you how sorry I was to read of your illness, Taxi, and am sending you all the love and hugs you can take right now.:kisses3:
You have always been an inspiration to me and I know in the amazing way you take life's knocks and just get on with it you'll do the same to get well again. With the wonderful support you are getting from your medical team, your lovely husband and family and everyone who has ever 'met' you on here you'll get there, having beaten that bully 'C' and learned some life-enhancing lessons on the way. Oh, yes, and being debt-free to enjoy the rest of your new, healthy and long life.:T Not only are you battling your own problems you are still finding the time and energy to support, encourage and help others on here. You are a star, Taxi, one very special lady and don't you forget it!

What a ramble, sorry, just needed to get it said really:o.

I followed the link to the wig you have opted for. It's absolutely gorgeous. I was interested in whether it is the same hairstyle you already had or whether you went for a completely new look. My SIL has been told she will need chemo and is in the process of deciding on a wig but no-one seems to be advising her much and she wonders whether its best to stick as near as poss to her usual look so that no-one knows she's wearing it. At other times she fancies something new and different, something she never dare do with her real hair IYKWIM

Will be with you every step of your journey, Taxi (even though I may not post much, I'll be reading), as I know will all your other DFW friends. We'll happily devour even the smallest snippest of your news so please don't tire yourself out trying to do too much to keep us up to date. Take care of yourself, let your lovely family pamper you, and get plenty of rest.:kisses3:
