Oh wow - Taxi, such a lot going on here and I've been MIA throughout - sounds like you are giving your cancer a proper fight though - good for you on that, my friend who did exactly the same is now in her third clear year and is "officially" deemed to be fine again. Sorry to hear about your SIL - those who have said that she, more than anyone, would understand why you were not able to get to see her are absolutely spot on though.

Morning all...thanks for all your prayers and wishes xxx
We now have the funeral arrangements and will be away staying at other SILs next week for a couple of days as it is too far for me to go ....will travel down weds,have funeral thursday and travel back friday.
I had an oncology appointment on the friday but have managed to change it to a different oncologist for the following tuesday..if I couldn't change it then my chemo would've been delayed...

Have spent pretty much the last 48 hours asleep on/off so will now come into the better bit over the course of the next few days.

May even get dressed today

Hi Taxi,
Just caught up and very sorry to hear news of your SIL. Thoughts to your OH too - I hope he can talk or do whatever helps him - my OH would not find talking helpful and denies grief but tends to come out in other ways. Maybe a trip to the country for you both when feeling fitter after chemo would help.
