Sore patches

Hi

I have had a problem for a few weeks now and it's really bugging me now :(

Around a year ago, I got an unexplained red sore patch on my finger, it sometimes would weep too.
I went to my GP, who after a few appointments, said she had no ideal what it was and didn't recommend anything.

Although it was sore, I carried on as normal.

However, in the last few weeks I have now got 3 more sore patches on my arm
I am not bothering to go to GP again, and wondering if anyone knows what this is and what I can do about it.

I don't mind buying some cream if someone can direct me to one that would be best for me.

They are sore :( and uncomfortably.

It isn't the wash stuff I'm using, as I haven't chnaged anything and use a non smelly one specially for sensitive skin :)

insist that your surgery change your GP

then if the new GP does not know what is causing it insist they send you to a consultant that can identify the problem

no one here is qualified to diagnose your issue

You can't be sure: sometimes a reaction can start even when nothing's changed!

While you're waiting for a GP appointment, you could ask at your local pharmacy.

Could be any number of conditions from that description!

That is pathetic. If a GP can't figure out what is causing a skin problem, they should refer you to a dermatologist - you can see one at the hospital as an outpatient, but you need a referral.

If your own GP won't refer you, see another one (it is your right) and ask them for a referral. You need to get a proper doctor to diagnose this, particularly if, as you go on to say, it is spreading.

I strongly suspect you'll need something on prescription, hence the need to see a skin consultant.

You never know, you can develop an allergy at any time.

I'm quite angry on your behalf - your GP is fobbing you off. Do not stand for it - see another doctor and get the help you need.

Thank you to everyone for your replies :)

I have got some cream that I have brought just to take the edge of it being uncomfy off - but will contact GP practice during the week :)

    Thank you all :)
