I dont understand that, as Boots have only started selling this about 5 days ago. How could this person have used it and "frog marched her eye lashes back to Boots" when they hadnt even had it on sale? It does make you wonder if people make up these stories.

    One of the replies says:

Hi. I've heard a lot of reactions just like yours, but from a different cause.... is it possible that your lashes are suffering from the recent lash extension you had? Because when recently questioned about the procedure my facialist confided in me that she would not recommend the procedure b/c shortly after the additional lashes fell out, the patients natural lashes felt brittle, broke off, and fell out.
  • its been out in america for ages i think. mua has good reviews.i'll give it at least a month. it would be great to stop wearing mascara.

But had she bought it in the states surely she would have mentioned that and not bothered to mention Boots?

Sometimes it does sound like people are pushing other brands, in her case L'oreal is mentioned several times.

Is it called something else in the US? I did a search on makeupalley and couldn't find anything, all I got was a long list of Aveda products.

(Edit): I just put out a question to the board members to see if anyone there has tried it.

If you read the post, it says right at the top she was sent it by the company to try and test. And she 'frog matched her eye lashes back to Boots' to re-buy the serum she likes.

Personally I wouldn't touch this, I understand it's different products for different people (I really hope the OP gets along well with the product!) but a handful of bad reviews normally puts me off a product!

No, she says it was sent to her 3 months ago and "its also on sale at Boots". Nothing about who sent it or that it was a trial?

After my L'oreal serum ran out I decided to try RapidLash. I had been sent it about 3 months ago and was excited by it's promises:

Clinically proven up to 50% longer looking natural lashes. RapidLash serum conditions your lashes to look stronger, fuller, and longer in as few as 8 weeks.

It's also on sale in Boots, for £40.

Sorry, in beauty communities almost 100% of the time when a person puts 'I was sent this' it means a PR company chucked it their way. It's just a quicker way rather than going into details.

I checked a link on Boots a while ago about this and it seems it's been on sale online for a while, just not in stores.

Lollipop26 was sent this by a PR if I remember correctly - I read her blog a lot. She went back to Boots to re-purchase the L'oreal serum which she loved.

Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.
