Just found that the pokemon annual does not trigger the 'buy 2 for £8' discount on annuals.

Got the R&R eventually after narky CS tried to argue the toss

Managed to bag 4 x Wolfmothers CD's despite the staff removing the SEL *after* I'd purchased them ! Had to fighht for 'em Shelf £7.97 - Charged £8.87

I found this one all by myself with no help from anyone and it is the best r and r I have had from Tesco. OK that is mainly because my local Tesco is so mean and looks after their SEL very carefully!

Anyway I was milling around the meat aisle intend on a pack of cheap pork steaks when I spotted a yellow SEL on the lamb section. It said lamb steaks £4.63 per KG. I picked the packs up and thye were all labelled £5.09 KG. My heart was racing by then so I just picked up two packs with two steaks in each.

Went through the basket till with a few other bits, checkout supervisor on the till so I did not dare offer any coupons. Then straight to customer services where after some discussion and examination of the lamb shelf I got my money refunded!

Yes I know I should have picked up 4 or 6 packs but it would have looked odd in the basket, Tesco bread, cheap pork chops, value carrots and £30 of lamb! Also I have never cooked lamb steaks so I am not sure how they are going to go down, fussy teenagers in the house. Plus my nerve was leaving me, I've only ever bought meat this dear at Christmas!

Plus the customer sevice ladies at our Tesco are very very scary, several times I have fallen out with them!

This was packs of Tesco Fresh New Zealand Lamb leg steaks in packs of two. I dont think it applied to the rump steaks.

I had two today that did not work but that is normal for me and my Tesco. The foil wrapped butter chickens had £3.99 on the bag and £2.99 on the SEL but went through at £2.99 (got that one refunded)

Also little boxes of kiwi fruits. The SEL had 79p but the on pack lablel said 98p. They went through at the correct price 79p.

The price check scanning machine was not working today again, very annoying. Is it worth emailing Tesco to complain about them and if so which is the best email address to use?

Own brand butchers choice sausages in freezer. £1.97 or 2 for £2.50. Picked up two flashed packs and discount didn't apply.

Tesco Ystrad Mynach - First visit ever!

Tesco Finest Sirloin Steak, lady was adding labels to them, she put the wrong price per kilo on them, So I swiped 4 packs SEL £14.48 per kilo, pack price £14.98 per kilo!

Tesco Bridgend, (On the way to my Mums)
Finest 2 Applewood smoked Gammon Steaks SEL £9.?? per kilo, pack price £10.31 per kilo x2 Rn'Rd
Finest Honeycure Gammon steaks, priced as above.

CS started to try to work out te difference, she went purpley red and said, Oh I'll just refund the lot!!

Moo ha ha ha, My Mummy was pleased with my little pressie for her!

Grapefruit 39p buy one get one free, big poster ......doesnt come off.(maybe out dated............I wonder how many people have bought these and not checked their bill?

Also the Star Wars annuals do not trigger the discount.

Maybe it would be quicker if we cut it down to which ones DO get the discount

Thats a couple more stocking fillers sorted FREE for Xmas - I am going to be a popular Aunt !:T

There are two spiderman 2 special 2 disc dvds. They are slightly different picture, but both have the same bar code on the back.
One is in the 3 for £15 area - £6 or £7.xx each.
Other is clearly stickered £3.93, and charged £6.9x.

By the way, my store had put out LOADS of dvds at £3.93 - oldies but goodies. Most are correctly priced, but it maybe worth checking some out if you have a working scanner - which my store didn't.:mad:

Got the sirloin and the gammon today , but also

Rack of lamb SEL £14.99 pack £19.99. Two for the freezer, as I have a backlog of freebie meat to eat.

R &R of £50 today!

Boy are we eating well these days!
