Surprise surprise their phones were engaged and now the line is closed at 7pm.
I tried calling the Financial Ombudsman and their lines were closed too.

...and to the Original Poster...
The Firm you have been dealing with should be reported to the Financial Ombudsmans Service and your Local trading Standards Office. They are out-and-out con merchants, as are all the Firms of this type.
They can do nothing for you that cannot be done for free with a little advice and Guidance from sources on here.:D stay wonky

I did call the Financial Ombudsman this morning and they told me they cannot deal with it, they advised I contact the Ministry of Justice.
After that I called back the Firm in question and had another lengthy debate that got nowhere before being cut off, I called back again, asked for a Manager to complain....
Funnily enough no Manager was available, I was then put on hold after explaining my problem and then the Adviser came back to me to say that the Refund has been signed off but I need to write a letter explaining why I want a refund and requesting the proper amount of £1500.
So perhaps I am getting somewhere ?
I'm not good with letters though, I don't know where to start.Beneficial Claims / We Fight Any Claim / Money Worries / Yes Loans are all the same Scam company.

I was wondering has anyone on here heard anything about the Law in Scotland changing with regards to Debt not being allowed to be declared 'Unenforceable' ?

Not exactly no, I was lied to by this company when I was at my most vulnerable.
I was trying to repay my Debt after getting advice from Debtline Scotland and Citizens Advice, I used their Template letters to contact all my Creditors and request they freeze the interest and take lower payments.
They either refused or ignored me and constantly harassed me day in and day out.
Adding them all up meant I had about an average of 5-10 phone calls per day and 2-5 letters per day.
I was given all the talk from this company when I was desperate so I signed up, after that my phone and letter box went quiet for nearly a year so things seemed to improve, last week when this company told me the Law changed in Scotland and the Debt Collectors will be hassling me again, I felt physically sick. They wanted to reinvest my money into another scheme....
This is when I thought something was amiss.
The company I was dealing with I actually found out today have been caught out by a BBC investigation team so I'm not a solo victim of their dodgy dealings.
I don't appreciate you ILW implying that I was not caring about my debt and trying to cheat my way out of it.
My creditors didn't care of my situation and when I was at my most vulnerable I got conned, plain and simple !Beneficial Claims / We Fight Any Claim / Money Worries / Yes Loans are all the same Scam company.

RD - Just try and ignore posters who are not being helpful to you.
The letter should be something like this
Dear Sir,
re: agreement xxxx
I was informed on XXX by telephone that the 3 agreements you were investigating on my behalf are in fact enforceable. As requested by yourselves I am writing to formally request a refund of the £1500 paid by myself.
Please update me on progress within 14 days.
Yours faithfully
Once you have this in hand then you can work out what to do next. Either agree repayment plans or identify if the accounts are not enforceable. If you can explain what you mean by 'nothing changed using them', I'm sure people on here can help.0 -
