Dear all I hope you can help
It is my OH and I 6th anniversary on 29th of Sept this year and i dont have a clue what to get/do for him. We are both under a lot of stress at the moment as we are both coming to the end and the hand in date of our PhDs (its meant to be that day but we are a few weeks off!) so time is well none existant. We live in a shared house so a nice meal and a special evening is a bit difficult and we cant take time out to do something for the weekend. I havent got a huge budget and im stuck for ideas.
I would love to do something HM and a bit different and special.
Can you help please!!!!
Thanking everyone in advance. Aimee

make him a jar of 16 promises, one for each year of your marriage.
put them on coloured pieces of paper and fold them up. he can open them as he wants and claim his promise!
E.g
a massage
his favourite home cooked meal
...I'm sure you can use your imagination!!...:p

How about a really nice dedication for the front of your Phd and wrap him a proof copy of that page up. I have seen some lovely thanks for oh's in the thanks page - not dh's I hasten to add- I got thanked for my perfect punctuation - dh is not that romantic!!!!“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

If a meal at home is difficult, why not pack a picnic (lunch or tea) and go eat in a park? That way you can spend as long as you want (weather permitting!)working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0

Thanks for the suggestions.
I unfortunately did a promise thing for valentines day so thats out the qn!
I do like the idea for the thanks page. Unfortunately all i can think of is thanks for occasionally taking me out for a meal saving me having to cook for him every night, umm now im stuck. Oh well its better than nothing!!!
I do like the idea of a picnic for lunch that day, I just hope the weather is nice. White horse hill would be a lovely spot, I will just have to drag him out there!!0
