The promotion will run much the same as it did last time, the thread for the previous time it ran is here

There are effectively two competitions (to win a 2 night stay at various Best Western Hotels with Breakfast and dinner) running at the same time one on Facebook and the other on Twitter and you can enter both.

The questions will be posted every hour and half hour and you have 15 minutes to answer once they have been posted!

Every 30 minutes a question will be posted on both Facebook and Twitter. You will have 15 minutes to correctly answer the question and then a winner will be selected at random. Easy as that!

Sorry for the bump but having looked at the thread the last time this was run a lot of people were unsure about using Twitter and Facebook. Just for those who haven't used these website before here's how to enter (Doesn't start till 8am Thursday though!)

Twitter

1. Register at www.twitter.com
2. When you're logged in go to BestWestern's Twitter page: www.twitter.com/BestWesternGB
3. Click the follow button (circled in red in the picture in the link below)

4. Then go to the twitter home page by clicking "Home"
5. Questions will appear on this page, or simply check this thread as I'm sure many nice peeps will be posting questions and answers, to submit an answer simply type @BestWesternGB followed by the answer into the "Whats Happening Box" (Shown by red arrow in pic in the link below)

For example if the answer was "Rumpelstiltskin" you'd type:

@BestWesternGB Rumplestiltskin

Then click the "Tweet" button, and you're done!

Thanx coversnail :T for taking the time to explain especially for Twitter (just joined) as I'm currently going round in circles trying to figure out what to do when I'm on there !!

I was just thinking to myself earlier I wish someone would give step by step instructions - but was too to ask !! Thanx again

These are the T&C, don't think they're doing an email option this year:

1.)
No purchase necessary. The competition will run from 8am Thursday 29th July 2010 until 7.30am Friday 30th July 2010, with questions posted on the hour and half past the hour.
2.)
To enter post the correct answer within 15 minutes of the question being posted on the Facebook/Twitter page. The winner will be picked at random from all correct entries.
3.)
Winners will be formally notified via Facebook or Twitter and post/email Full details of the prize will be given in writing upon notification within 7 working days.
4.)
There are 48 breaks to be won via Twitter and 48 via Facebook over 24 hours.
5.)
The prize breaks for each prize will be predetermined. Selected travel dates and hotels will be allocated to each prize winner by the promoter at our absolute discretion.
6.)
The promoters reserve the right to amend the specification of the prizes although every effort will be made to provide prizes of a similar quality and value.
7.)
This prize draw is not open to those who are employees, agents or representatives of Best Western and members of their respective families.
8.)
The prize consists of two nights accommodation on selected dates, breakfast and dinner (dinner NOT included at London Hotels) for two people sharing a twin or double room at the pre-selected Best Western hotel.
9.)
Those hotels that do not offer table d’hote will offer a supplement towards their a la carte menu.
10.)
No cash alternative will be available and the prize is non transferable and has no cash value.
11.)
Hotel stay prizes must be booked before 31/10/2010 for stays before 30/11/2010.
12.)
Hotel stay prizes must be booked through Best Western Central Reservations on 08717 708707 quoting your PB number found on your confirmation letter.
13.)
All bookings are subject to Best Western Central Reservations’ promotional room availability. [NB This may differ from room availability for bookings made direct with the hotel.]. Bookings are not available over Half Term, Christmas, New Year, Valentine’s, Easter and Bank Holidays.
14.)
All bookings are subject to Best Western Central Reservations booking terms and conditions available online at https://www.bestwestern.co.uk or on request.
15.)
All additional spend (such as bar bills and newspapers) must be paid in full prior to departure.
16.)
Travel to and from the hotel is not included.
17.)
Any tax liability arising from the prize is the winner’s responsibility.
18.)
Entrants must be aged 18 years or over and resident in England, Scotland or Wales.
19.)
The Promoters' decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
20.)
We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time. Entry in this free prize draw implies acceptance of these rules.
21.)
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
22.)
