DELL P4,512Mb RAM,19" LCD,80Gb HD, DVDRW & Free Shipping £349 !

At www.dell.co.uk - evalue code UKDHSONL-D093C6. Dell want £160 for the monitor on it's own, so with free shipping plus the upgrades (double RAM from 256 to 512& DVD-RW) I think this is a bargain.

Rememebr to change the 2 year warranty to 90 day collect & return.

look up fans on https://www.ebuyer.com - if you check out the customers reviews they usually comment on how quiet they are

    yup, definitely a great price.

not a big fan of the 3100c though, it can only hold one internal DVD drive and its a smaller case than normal so any cards you might want to add might not fit - eg a standard modem card doesnt fit for example.
  • This looks a great price. I don't really need a new PC right now but at this price I am tempted ...

You need to order today (so they say) to get the free DVD-RW upgrade.

And remember to not use the affiliate links contained in that site and go through Quidco for your own 4.5% cashback.

  • All the dell machines I've come across (except the rackmount servers, natch) have been very quiet, with temperature controlled fans. Be careful replacing the fans though - they may be set up to the specific characteristics of the supplied fan and dell cases are not typically standard ATX cases.

This is a pretty good offer - basically an upgrade from 15" to 19" monitor, double RAM from 256 to 512 and a free dvd writer. The 19" monitors are good - nice thin bezel, very sharp, typically no dead pixels. No DVI input, but they have a very good analogue conversion stage so it's not too much of an issue.

Quidco is your friend - follow the quidco link and then do a search for D093C6 in the box at the top of the screen.
  • Does this support wifi or is there room for a card?

Also, is the better screen worth upgrading?
