Eat it or bin it?

Hi - I forgot to put what was left of my lamb shoulder joint in the fridge last night before I went to bed. It came out of the oven about 6.30pm last night and I "discovered" it this morning at about 6.30am. So it had been out for twelve hours. It was loosely wrapped in a food bag and was slightly rare around the bone. Do I take my chances? I was going to make some kind of rice pilaf thingy with it.

I would eat it, if you're really unsure, then don't but I've done similar things to this and it's fine

Eat it so long as you only reheat it once and then very thoroughly.0

Does it look and smell ok? If it does, and you are going to be cooking it, then yes, i would eat it. If its a bit wiffy, or you want to eat it as it is then i wouldnt risk it.0

I'm at work at the mo so will give it a good sniff when I get home. I'm not in an at risk group and it wasn't particularly hot last night so I am tempted to just get on with it. I'll let you know if I am still alive tomorrow!0

I would slice it up and then recook it for a minimum of 20 minutes just enough to kill those little suckers (bacteria).
No amount of money saving is worth having food posioning.
