Good morning DFWs!
Hope you are having a good day wherever you are! Hottest September day for a while so time to get that washing out on the line
For all those that took up the challenge yesterday, good luck and hope we all make it under target!
I am going for a no spender today so keeping my £7.55 intact! Have lunch with me and don't really need anything else.
Have a great day all and a lovely new week.

Hello All.
I've been floating around this board for a while just reading, and became really inspired reading your thread on the 18k challenge yesterday. So I'm going to try and go for a low-spend today. I already spent £1.05 this morning on a bottle of water and cereal bar, but have brought my lunch in to work and have my travel already covered with a season ticket. Dinner will be something out of the fridge and so hopefully I can keep it to the £1.05!
Thanks for the inspiration!0 -
Hmmm... Was a glorious nothing! Made a packed lunch, remembered to pack it, cycled to work (7 of 7 now!) - and plenty to do at home this evening in the garden and study. :T
Shame I was reminded when I got to work I was going out for lunch. :rolleyes:So around a fiver I guess...

I'm hoping to spend a big fat zero...finally made the decision to take sick leave from work, first time in 20 years ever needed it. Spent all yesterday feeling really ill about taking the decision and after feeling as if my heart was about to leap out of my chest at the thought realised just how stressed and ill work was making me...appointment for G.P was made last week and I'm feeling a little better this morning now I've let work know that I am taking sick leave...phew. So, hopefully i can figure out in the time off exactly what my options are-just can't keep on with this stress, the sleepless nights, sickness, shakes, palpitations etc-lifes too short and all that....
anyway zero spend, cheese/beans on toast for dinner, chicken curry and rice (leftover from roast yesterday) for tea and pasta concoction for kids as don't like curry.
Actually made money today...had bets on tennis open match yesterday- made £15...not bad...lets hope things are looking up:TThanks to MSE and all the moneysaving tips I can now work PT (instead of FT) to pay the bills and still have fun!!:beer:0 -
