Part-time Jobs

Hey everyone,

I know it's late on a Friday afternoon, but I would appreciate some help trying to find a part-time job.

I am currently working full time hours (9-5) but need to increase my income, so I am hoping to find some type of work that will allow me to either work from home in the eves, or weekend work.

I've tried some of the local bars (one told me to try again in October!!), shops and other likely sources. I would love to do some kind of online job, so I can be at home with the family, but most of these seem to be scams. Does anyone know of any places where the work is reliable and half decent wage?

As said before any help is much appreciated.

Thanks
Today's Debt:
B/Card = £6,410 F/D = £3,190
Loan = £0 Woohoo!
Total Debt = £9500
Debt as of 26-1-11:
Total Debt = £14,325

The best advice I can offer is to read through this 'Up your income' thread, this question has been asked so many millions of times before and lots and lots of ideas and suggestions have been put forward as a result. Not only ideas to follow up that might work for you but also advice on what to avoid. Go through it with a notebook at your side and there are lots of websites, ideas to google, people to phone and so on. It's also worth doing a bit of thinking about what your skills are and what you could never bring yourself to do etc etc, exactly as you would if you were looking for a 9-5 job

Things I do are shop work, admin for small local company, parish clerk, all the usual surveys etc, babysitting, bits of support for disabled people. These are all available in evenings or weekends as are lots of other opportunities.
    Good luck.

Although not likely a half decent wage, but takeaways such as Domino's and such, for evening during the week and weekend.

What are your skills? Work experience(s)?

-Some Leisure centres allow you to work part-time, in some cases you're able to choose the days you want to work.

-You could allow a small business to use your address as a mailing address, charge them £16 a month. (Just an idea).

-Part-time work in a nursery, a class room assistant.

-Whilst looking you can post an advert on Gumtree, Fish4Jobs (or any other job site) stating that you're looking for part-time work.

Domino's pay is ok, not great, but delivery drivers do get £1 a delivery on top of basic wage, plus keep all the tips theyre given.

Betterware? Hard slog but nothing to pay - don't pay for catalogues, deliveries, etc and get fit at the same time :)
    Just an idea :)
