Morning all

Misty start to the day here but it's clearing.

Woke at 6 having a very intense and mixed up dream that I'd got the job I went for the interview for and it was all going wrong and I woke with that horrible stressy, panicky feeling. Glad I didn't get it, I think that was my brain saying it definitely wasn't right for me.

Friday is my shortest day, 9-4 so a nice start to the weekend.

I hate dreams like that- Sorry you didn't get the job, but you are probably right if you are thinking like that. Your gut instincts are generally good.

DD's last days of school - thank goodness, I really am looking forward to a lie in next week. I do love having them home during the holidays too.

Am very excited as a very talented MSE poster has agreed to do some watercolour paintings of DD's for me :j - Having them done as a surprise christmas present for them both, I'd like to try and give them a few memory/heirloom type pressies this years that they can treasure.

10 ton of washing to catch up with today and the resulting 20 ton of ironing it will create (there always seems to be more ironing for some reason)

It's Friday!!!! :j I feel on top of the world this morning....had a fantastic night out last night with family, it was just so brill to see my nieces (they have grown SO much!) and today I have some lovely pictures for the fridge (drawn on my business cards - my niece obviously thought they could do with a bit of jazzing up!) My lovely brother-in-law treated us all to dinner which was fab.

Then when hubby and I got home, I opened the post and one was a letter back with my test results from the doctors - ALL NORMAL!!! Very pleased, as I had been worried cos I put it off for so long Then the next letter was from Sc0ttish Power, welcoming us on board as new customers!!! I had applied to switch to them last week, so that's fab news - it should save us a fair bit on bills AND we get some cashback :T

So all in all I am in great form today!

Pooky - that sounds like a lovely idea for DDs - I think they will really treasure them and it's also really original

BB - yuck, bad dreams, but I think you're right - much better to be having bad dreams than the reality of having to actually do that job, which doesn't sound very well suited to you. Hope you have a good day

Right! Off to dry my hair and then head out to my meeting!

raining again here today

dh got a day off work, so all hands on deck to clean right through and get everything ready for the big cheese (hope its fine tomorrow)

Just weighed haven't lost much weight this week 1lb or 2 thats it but i'm now dead on 11st yippeeee lol but my belly has now gone from 44.5" to 41" ans my waist has gone from 39" to 35"

Blimey-just had to rescue the DC from page 2!!!
Morning one and all,been and run 5kms, and bought new trainers..real running ones, rather than ones I just liked the colour of!!My kids finish at 1230 Pooky, also looking forward to lie ins! Right, gotta fly visiting mate in hospice now:(:(

@ scaredy - Sorry, I went to bed after posting last night. No, not yet. I honestly haven't had time. They'll want me to wait for a manager to call back and there's been no day this week that I've had two hours free to sit by the phone. I'm sure they're open weekends so with any luck, I should be able to do it tomorrow.

It's quite a busy day for me today. I've got to go into town, buy some stuff at Sainsbury's so I can use their car park (and see if I can get my car washed at the same time), pay in a cheque, buy some oil from Halfords and go to the tax office to get off Basic Rate before my next wage comes through as I suspect my landlord would like some rent at some point. Then again, he's not back yet.

Anyway, better get a move on, can't sit around here all day, much as I'd like to.

Morning all, I had a fantastic day yesterday. I had an osce exam which I think I coqued up. But then I went to the cinema to watch toy story 3 with the kids my slow starting girl friend and her little one. Also had a huge row with nhs bursaries because they sent my claim for child care back because it was missing one page. The sent me the page back last week with my original documents. So now they are going to fast track my application.
I am off to my cousins 18th tonight which should be interesting, they are on my mothers side of the family so I need to be on my best behaviour because of various problems.
Finally I have the kids at home today because we all didn't feel like it this morning, I know it's naughty to give them a day off, but apart from last night I haven't seen much of them since Sunday because I have been on placement, and they are sleeping at their mothers tonight.

Work - is argh.

OH told me something I really don't think I should have know, but I think it explains stuff. Now I've just to figure out how to handle these emotions!
