Hi,
Does anyone have a money off code for either Travellodge or express by holiday inn??
Or know of a cheap hotel for a weekend in Liverpool?
Help! Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
I know about the 26 pound rooms at travel lodge but they are not available on saturday nights and we can only go Fri and sat due to babysitter and work commitments.
thanks, Lisa xx

Hi
I would suggest looking at Formule 1 hotels (part of the Ibis chain).
Although apparently basic, It's fairly new, purpose built and well located opposite the Albert Dock so its centrally located.
If you plan to go to any out of town locations the nearest underground station is James Street but its approx 15 mins away on foot.
There's parking outside but I'm not sure if this belongs to the Ibis hotel which is attached to it. If you are are arriving by train then take the underground from Lime Street to James Street station (any Wirral Line train).
I checked the website and a room this weekend would be £29.95 per room per night.
Hope this helps

formula 1 is awesome...... very cheap and cheerful, but just what we needed.
The parking does belong to the hotel and is free for guests.
The rooms are a flat rate, and you can have up to 3 ppl in the room.
The phone number is: 0151 7092040 (only any use during reception hrs...)0 -
....depending on how much luggage you have, it's walkable from Lime St station.......0

Thanks a million to all your replies, I really aprreciate it. We are going for a weekend in November (an escape from the 4 kids hehe). Have rang Formula 1 hotel but couldn't get an answer so am just about to look at the website.
Thanks again for your helpful advice, Lisa xx0 -
its worth keep checking the Travelodge site as they appear to update daily. I have just got a £26 room for a Saturday night which previously was not available..0
