My cupboards are bare! Literally!

I need to restock my store cupboards. Is there a good list somewhere of what I need?

I have great greengrocers and fresh food shops nearby so I'm just thinking of things like oils, pasta, rices, tinned toms etc! I think spending £50 on filling the cupboards with staples would be money well spent.

A definitive list would be really useful!

(i searched but this forum is so full of other useful stuff it was tough to find the right thing!)

I suppose what you need depends on what you like/eat.

I remember there was a lot of diveristy in that thread! It depends on the size of your budget and whether you're a meat eater, vegetarian, vegan, gluten intolerant, baker, only eat seasonal, etc etc. Perhaps list each category you could need, (grains, flours, oils etc) and look at what others have got. I think that is what I did many years ago. Lots of older cookbooks used to have comprehensive pantry lists too (my more modern ones don't seem to have this).
