Has there already been a thread on this?
I believe Martin has made some pronouncements about it but does anyone have any hands-on experience of it which they'd be willing to share?

Hi bud-miser
I recently signed up for clubcard plus and its really easy to use and the points tote up really quickly.Martin put this one in an e-mail in July i think.Basically phone Tesco there is an 0800 number and ask to get clubcard plus they do ask how you heard about it cos there's no leaflets in the stores on it so I said a friend had one.Set up a direct debit to it for a £1 or more if you want to then everytime you go to tesco put money in at the customer services before you shop and make sure it covers the cost of your shopping.Sad but true the first few times I did wander round with a calculator as I shopped then dashed to CS to put the right money in but my mental arithmetic skills seem to be improving so I'm usually quite close to the total.I think it's definetely worth getting for the double points when you pay using it and even if you pay cash you still get single points.hope this helps"Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0 -
To get double points, do you also have to hand in your normal tesco clubcard. The people at the tills don't seem to be very sure. Have only had this card a couple of weeks and put a standing order of £160 on it at the start of the month.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
Mortgages (End 2017) - £180,235.03
(End 2021) - £131,215.25 DID IT!!!
(End 2022) - Target £116,213.810 -
Ok. Thanks to both of you. I'm beginning to revise my opinion of Clubcard, especially since I noticed the vouchers being sold on Ebay for three times their face value and more.
If I can get double points to begin with....0 -
I currently use my Amex Blue for the cashback option when paying in Tescos. Does anyone know if you can load up your Clubcard Plus using Amex??? Best of both worlds0
