Baby shampoo

Does anyone think baby shampoo is OK to use on adults? Its supposed to be very gentle but it does work the same as other shampoos?

There is the risk it might shrink you.

It's fine to use on adults.

Wouldn't use it on a baby though, they need nothing other than water.

Yes, it's great to use if you have coloured hair.

Now that is interesting as I've been told quite the opposite - that it is quite a harsh detergent. It only has the reputation of being gentle as it is formulated not to sting on eye contact...
  • ooh maybe i've been misinformed?

Not a problem for me as I don't colour my hair!

It does have SLS in it after all so I imagine it would be pretty harsh.

Johnsons baby shampoo is very heavily perfumed and at least 8/10 people I have spoken too have had reactions to it (both adults and children).

I used it on my LO - he came out in a dry, itchy rash.
I used it on myself (being mse to use it up) - my scalp was soo sore. Its now used for my make up brushes (I just rinse well)
