Hi All
Did anyone manage to find this deal as declared by Martin on GMTV?
I tried 3 Boots in my area they thought I was mad asking for a £2.50 product.
I am wary that this deal rewally is there, happy to have my sceptasism changed though.

I went to Bristol Broadmead to look for the Sanctuary Hot Cloth Cleanser. They are in Green packaging and were £9.99 each and on 3 for 2 so with £5.00 voucher the three would be just under £15.00. However the sales assistant said the £2.50 ones were the ones in the previous packaging which was white with Blue writing. So those are the ones to look for although as it was inthe weekly e-mail aand on GMTV I doubt there are any left now. I am off to Westfield Shopping Centre over the weekend so will look there also. Hi
The £5 skincare voucher is per "qualifying item", not per transaction, so in your example, it should be just under £10 for the 3 "new" hot cloth cleansers. States this clearly on the voucher, but most SAs try to tell you it is per transaction, so you may have to stand your ground.
Unfortunately my local stores have not reduced their "old" Sanctuary products, but there are still great bargains to be had. You can combine using the voucher on Sanctuary skincare with the 3 for 2 on "indulgent bathing". Today I used 2 vouchers and got 2 x £6.99 Sanctuary cleansers for £1.99 each and as the third item a "free" Soap and Glory scrub - £3.98 for all three. I think this will work on any combination as long as the Sanctuary product is not the cheapest item, ie you can't have the £5 discount off the "freebie".
Hope that makes sense?
Whack a deodorant or whatever into your basket at the same time to make the spend up to £5 and you will get another voucher ....0 -
I got it and found it independently of anyone else who may have posted it - so far as I know it was my post here that Martin used. (Uncredited, I might add
)
As it goes, the ones I got were the ones in the new-style packaging. I don't know if they made a mistake or what - I haven't seen any of the old-style packaging reduced in my local store but plenty of the new-style hot cloth cleanser and spf15 moisturiser. I don't know if they're being discontinued from the limited range at my branch, neither product has shelf space at this store anymore. Although Martin referred to 'larger' stores in the weekly email I actually found it in the smallest store I know of.
It went like this. I found 3x hot cloth cleansers reduced to £2.50 each. Immediately decided to snap them up as I use it all the time. I asked the SA if I could put two through and use a £5 voucher. She said they're scanning at 3 for 2 so you can put all three through!
So I did
Put everything through the till and got a receipt without handing any money over, which felt strange but an incredible high as well. Managed to get another lot and pay with points as no voucher (never thought to spend a fiver and get one, but I can't complain in the circumstances.)
And I posted on here hoping others could take advantage
but I've not heard of any other successes. I'm slightly bemused that Martin's made such a big deal of it given that if others have managed to get the same deal they're not exactly shouting from the rooftops about it. I did actually wonder if there was this whole other thread I didn't know about... if there is, I can't find it. 0 -

I got pretty much the same response too. Bit annoying really as I trekked into town especially which isn't a short journey.0 -
It was £4.99 in my local one. The lady on the till said it wasn't coming up as 3 for 2 because it is in the clearance section. When I have bought things on offer in Boots before and haven't realised they have always told me to get another etc to make use of the offer because the till says it is on offer but this time it didn't say.
I called into another Boots yesterday and it was full price at £9.99.
Thanks for the tip re the 3 for 2 offer and combining products plus also using the offer. I will try that.0 -
Along with the change of packaging & name Sanctuary have reduced the amount of hot cloth cleanser from 150ml to 125ml, rather sneaky I think!
Just as well it's on 3-4-2 with the boots voucher!
Checked out 4 localish Boots branches & none have the old ones reduced to £2.50. Think I will stick with the Boots No.7 hot cloth cleanser as it has 200ml & wait for the goldies

Thanx to all those who repsonded to my query, seems utter confusion all round.
Was it a valid deal, "Martin, your thoughts please, seems like a few people incurred time, effort and petrol in this one, not your usual standards?"

I'd say it was a vaild bargain as silvercharming got the deal and posted it for everyone to read on mse. Sometimes when bargains are posted you can find them sometimes not. No joy for me on this one. but htanks anyway SC0

I went to the Boots in Bangor this morning (North Down) and they had the old style packaging for Sanctuary facial oil reduced to £6.84. I used the £5 voucher so a good deal for £1.84.0
