Hair and Make up trial

Hi Ladies

I'm having my hair and make up trial on 7 August. I'm having it done in the morning as I'd like to see how long the make up lasts and how i get on with my hair.
Now this might sound like a stupid question but when you have your trials are you going to let your H2B see you? I can't think how i will be able to avoid him all day on a Saturday! i know its just hair and make up and he won't see the dress but i wanted it all to be a surprise on the day. What's everyone else doing?

Send him out for the day? You go out for the day?

I personally don't mind him seeing, but i'm not having an up do that won't stay up, so i'll get them to take it down, and my hair will be curlier than normal, that's if i have a trial at all.

My H2B saw mine. I don't think it spoils it really. If you look at photos of someone after their trial, in normal clothes, then on their wedding day with the dress and accessories, it's so different. To my mind, it just whetted his appetite for the day. :D

Thanks ladies. I think I'm worrying about nothing really and as sarah elton says it won't spoil things. You've put my mind at ease!

I doubt my OH would notice / remember it unless i got a buzz cut with a mo-hawk :rotfl:
  • take any accessories out and take your veil off (LOL) and then he probably won't notice! Or tell him you are trying out a variety of styles at the trial and don't know which order so the one you come home with might not be 'your' style. Its only the smallest white lie.

Seriously though I don't think it really matters.

    I didn't.
The first trial I took the pins it out so it just looked curly and for the second arranged a day out with the BM's
