The wedding was great Em, a lot to drink muind and it certainly didnt turn out to be a DFW.. You know the feeling when you wake up £100 lighter !! they are great friends though. They hired a massive Humvie limo that was all blacked out and let us ride in it with the family, scooting through manchester.. people were waving at us !! it was fab, dont know if they liked the pressie.. they took it straight to the hotel without opening it.

By god you certainly know how to live Mike - Sorry to have missed your afternoon drinks - thought I'd best keep my head down to avoid being 'trolled'

Cheers - enjoy your tea!

Cheers, Mike! I'm glad yesterday went well - for good friends you occasionally have to just go for it...its a big day for them and one they'll always remember, so we just have to make cutbacks elsewhere to make up for excesses (well, thats what Mr Piglet and I told ourselves when some good friends got married last weekend and we went a bit over-budget...!).

Am just about to open a bottle of something nice, so I will join you all in a drink:T. Have still got to decide on dinner (and am supposed to be on weightwatchers...:o) but your suggestion sounds much better than the veg mountain in my fridge:p, so (virtually, of course!) please can you pick me up some chicken fried rice, chips and curry when you go for yours and I'll be round as soon as I can...:rotfl:

Well.. I just spent £50 on stuff for knitting club - so I can't really fault £100 for a wedding-do - seems quite cheap for it these days! Glad it went well and limo sounds fab fun!

No worries - it'll take me a few hours to get to you, cos I'm down in London...

...but I'll bring the rest of my bottle with me, so if there's any left by the time I get to you, I'll happily share it and it can help you sleep!:p

I'm on the wagon apart from Fri & Sat (oh, and going to a posh do next Thurs night as well:confused: ). So I'm on the coke - so, having consulted the 'what drink for what food' book I'll have a KFC please (with coleslaw).
