I have been in the habit of working about two hours a day in my job. I have been getting away with it for about 5 years as no one has complained as I am not that popular. Although my contract expires in a year and I am not sure they will reknew it. Is there any course of action I could take other than pulling my finger out?

    If the company have noticed that your not pulling your weight, then they will probably terminate your contract. Why are you not popular? Why should they contract and pay someone FT hrs when you are only working PT?

    You need to pull your finger out and prove to them that you are worthy of having your contract renewed.

    Could you better yourself by getting more qualified? What work do you do etc?
