  • When you get it working, it might be an idea to backup using Norton Ghost or Acronis Trueimage, makes recovery from these type of problems a breeze.

    Seems to be like your disk has got corrupt.
    Boot pc using Xp Disk>recovery mode>type chkdsk>type fixmbr>
    Restart.
    If that doesnt work try fixing the boot using FIXBOOT
