Buying from Amazon Germany

I want to buy a TomTom from Amazon Germany, as it's cheaper for the model I want.

Am I correct in saying you don't have to pay any Customs fees or VAT?

i don't think you'll get charged, probably worth checking the hmrc website out

German VAT will be paid (and will be in the price you see), not UK VAT.

Will your credit card charge you for this transaction?

I'd be concerned about the maps if I were you, does it come with a Germany map or a map of your choice? If it comes with a German map you may have to spend £40 to get the British map so be very cautious and double check this before ordering.
