Earning by posting in forums

Hey,

Does anyone know a good way to get into paid posting in forums?

I know of a few websites which offer "packages" - a forum owner pays them a certain amount, in exchange someone from the site will post x number of new threads on the forum, reply to x threads etc.

All of the sites I'm aware of, never have any openings. I've found one which allows people to join, and pays $0.05 per post (I won't post a link, don't want to be accused of advertising in my first post!) - but the site stats show a total payout of around $200 in the site's history, which seems pretty low, considering it has a couple of hundred members.

I was just wondering if anyone knows of any sites which are good, reliable and worth joining?

If links aren't allowed, and someone knows of a site, could they PM me the details?

mylot's alright but you don't earn much and it's got a very american bias. (Politics section is very unfriendly) There's an old thread with referal links here (you can only post referal links on that board and can't post any urls until you've made enough posts)

I'm a member and have been paid more than once by them but don't use/visit it that often, end up finding it hard to know what to type about.

If we're generous and assume 3p a post (the thread Jenna links to suggests 1p in some cases) you could probably realistically crank out 20 reasonable posts an hour. That is 60p an hour max, and unless the subject matter really interests you I doubt you could churn out too many posts before you give up with boredom. Is it really worth it?

then again, how much are you (not you personally but in general) posting on here or elsewhere for nothing?

I'm not going to give too many details but i've sat some hard specialist exams, and have posted my book lists which link to amazon on related forums, which earns me £5-10 a day.
I only wrote one post and copied it 3 times in different places, and no-one has noticed my discreet tagging as the link shows up at the 'Page Title' in the links.

Unfortunately I sell a lot of books with a face value of 0.01 ... however they sometimes buy the £40 textbook, and i've also piggybacked on the purchase of a car-roof mounted storage unit, and (who buys this?) half a dozen electric toothbrushes!

^ your lucky you haven't got yourself banned for spamming your association links &/or crossposting/c&ping to multiple forums.

You get 60p a review in Dooyoo (in the popular categories) and how many would you be able to write in an hour. Probably more profitable. Definitely if you enjoy typing/writing.

haha, well there you go! It is pretty specialist, captive audience of around 8,000 people a year and the forum's aren't exactly 'commercial'... so I guess i've bagged a trick! :j always helps a student like me with time on their hands!

I get bored of writing after my first review, so my dooyoo account has probably 50p in it lol.

Mylot was silly. i joined in March. I got $0.01 for a post, Thats not even a penny. So I never wrote anymore, I don't have the patience.

But from reading this forum I think dooyoo is the best way to earn via writing. Apparently you earn more for more detailed reviews.
