I've made some Easiyo drinking yoghurt for the first time and the consistency after 8 hours is like milkshake, is this how it is supposed to be or has it not worked?

It sounds like it has worked. It has the consistency of a thick milkshake. If you want it a bit thicker just give it a couple more hours.
I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.

Mine is a bit sloppy at first & then goes like proper yogurt when you chill it down in the fridge.
In fact i think i'll set some going now!
