A Lovely Surprise!!!

I just thought I would tell you all how thoughtful and wonderful my MrC is!!! Today I got a lovely surprise. On sunday I was a bit upset when I had to leave him so this morning at 0530 he got the kids into the car and set off to drive the 270 miles to see me!!! I was the only person that didn't know they were coming until they walked into the house!!! What a fantastic day it has been and I even managed to get a late start at work so I could spend time with them :) Had a wonderful day and its just a shame that they have had to go back up the road :( never mind, I get to see them again on sunday!

    Aw, how sweet is MrC?!

That goes a little way to restoring my faith that not all men are idiots (like my OH!)

    Oooh, how lovely :)

Can i praise up my OH on here too? He rode (on his motorbike) a 170 mile round trip to bring me my internet banking stuff because i was stressing and refused to stay (i was at a baby shower and on a shopping weekend with the girls) becuase he didnt want to interrupt (even though we all asked him to stay) got back on his bike and went off home.

I have never had anyone make so much effort to stop me worrying/make me happy EVER.

It really makes a difference when our men do something wonderful :)

Its good that you got to spend some extra time with them as well :)

ETA - Just got to get him to ask me to marry him now ;)

    Thanks everyone!

He really is the best guy I have ever know and love to do little things to surprise me but this one has got to be the biggest surprise yet! Our family are the kings and queens of BIG surprises so he is gonna fit in well! Dad said he had to bite his tongue all morning and try not to let it slip as I was just lounging about as usual when I am working backshift! Never mind, H2B has seen me looking a lot worse than I did when he came in today!!!

I still can't believe he did it! I thought they were going to the zoo today and he has apparently been so close to telling me that he was coming here instead - I did wonder why he kept cutting calls short!!!

It really was wonderful paula, now I need to get my thinking cap on and work out what I can do to get him back! It's not like I can turn up unannounced as he always leave the house key in the door so I wouldn't be able to get in unless he was working, and I just don't know what else I could do!!!
