Out of stock - Will Argos order in from another store?

I've seen something I wouldn't mind getting but it's a clearance item and the nearest store to us that has it in is some distance away. Will our local Argos order it in for us? Not available for delivery.

I've tried to get them to do this before and they refused so probably not no.

Very, Very Unlikely - It cost a lot in terms of time and money to send an item from store to store via the warehouse and since the item you want is clearance and more than likely being sold for a loss anyway it gives them even less of a reason to do it.
If they do do it they can't give you a timescale as there’s no official system for store to store it's more pot luck. Ones I’ve done in the past range from next day to a month and a half later. It depends how "on the ball" the DC is.

The only exception would be if a member of staff lives near to the other store or drives past it on the way in and can drop in to pick one up for you.

Personally I would only ever do one if our store had seriously let someone down and it's my last resort (because of the randomness of timescales).
