Don't know if this is nationwide but I bought Tesco's Chilean Merlot for £1.64 per bottle from Tesco Heswall. Normally it's around £3 odd. Haven't tried it yet so can't comment on the quality. Got another 5% off for buying a case.

Sadly this was still full price at my Tesco (North Shields), I had it scanned, so maybe it's local.
Sainsbury's (my local) have a French red at half price and only £2.10 a bottle (Baron du Vosc) - barcode 3 12058 365309.

I had a look this morning about 11:30 and there was a nice big gap where they had been and a trolley at the front of the store with some in that somebody had ordered. Did you manage to get any? I'm drinking some now and have to say that it's very drinkable and an absolute bargain for the price. It would even be worth buying at the full price.Was there any stock left in Heswall? I am going there in the morning.0 -
I did call in last Thursday morning about 8.45, but the shelf was empty. At least I now know they didn't put more stock out later that morning. Tried a couple of other stores but no luck, not even at full price.0
