Think DS has almost pulled out a permanent tooth.

My DS is 9 and has has loads of teeth coming out recently, however last night he said one of his wobbly teeth was really hurting and bleeding, when i looked to me it looked like it could be one of his permanent molars!!!!!

Would he have permenent molars yet and if so has he caused major damage, do i need to take him to the dentist asap or can i wait for his appointment next week?

its unlikely he could pull it out with his bare hands. Also at 9 he probably only have one adult molar in each area of the mouth (top left top right bottom left bottom right. If they came out with finger pressure it would make my life easier ;) ... If you are worried though just get him checked over

i think the 1st and 2nd molars of top & bottom do come to be replaced by adult teeth as my dd1 has already had her first molars out. but ToothSmith (i think thats his/her username) should be able to confirm this.

At 9, only his very back teeth will be adult molars.

He'll probably have a few adult front teeth coming through as well. All the other teeth will come out at some point.

As Welshdent said - a kid couldn't just wobble out an adult tooth. They make enough fuss getting out a wobbly baby one sometimes!!
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.
