Thanks guys, will have a chat with the other half about it, might end up going with just numbers - cos its not a proper xmas theme so dont wanna use xmas themed tables
Instead of xmas, why not think winter? If you do go with numbers, make your own snowflakes (like when you were at school by folding paper and snipping) and use the snowflake shape on a board to enkeep with your theme or go for winter inspired drinks/flowers or even use the word 'snow' in different languages as teh names? its a bit mor eoriginal and not something you are likely to see everywhere?
I only added this cos i thought about it on reading your first post although i do like teh idea of asking your mates to come up with words to relate to you both. xProud to be Member of BSC #92Hoping to get debt free again :wall::heart2: working hard to make my daughters proud :heart2:0 -
My boyfriend's brother got married the weekend before Christmas, and their tables were named after the various Inuit words for snow, with info on the back of the cards about how many different words there were and what type of snow your table name applied to. I think that would work well."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0

But i suppose we could use our favourite singers, and see if we can get some friends to come up with maybe 7 or 8 words they would use to describe us, or what they think we like?
were having a black and white theme, were both very music orientated so are have our favourite artists with black and white pics of them.0 -
I am loving reading these....slightly gutted as our venue and numbers mean we just have 2 long tables so no names to worry about...tho it would have been easy as it's a zoo wedding we'd have gone for our fave animals.
I tend to think of names depending on the number....but I'm sure you wouldn't want the 7 dwarfs for your wedding tables lol0 -
I am with Kazz81, I was going to suggest the same thing! I also like the names of famous people born on that day. Or you could use (nice) historical events. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window
