Hi all received a letter from a company called power to contact yesterday from our friends cra.p one.
It says we are a special company who specialise in locating people who have lost contact with there creditors (now with debitas) and if I don’t contact debitas within 3 working days of this letter they will send a representative round to my address (I smell something!)

Anyone heard of these jokers if so what do they do?

powertocontact have no legal power whatsoever.

They just try to panic or embaress you into paying up.

You can remove the common law right to visit if you want.

Ras not really bothered about them visiting me address as I would take great pleasure in telling them to f-off I was just really wondering what else do they do apart from knocking on your door?

Nothing - just send you threat letters. Possibly turn up and ask you to pay up, try to see if you will be embarrassed in front of your neighbours etc. Probably lie about their powers to your face or on the phone, probably mention baliffs and court (but not in writing).

Absolutely nothing apart from letting you neighbours know you are in debt. If so try to record them and report them to the IO.

If they refuse to leave, call the police.

Let them turn up and then talk to them through the letter box, just like in Trigger Happy TV :rotfl:

They have no powers at all except the power to bully and in some cases, scare people with non existant powers in order to get money from you.

Treat them like the turdstream they are.
