Moorcroft settlement

I currenly have 2 debts with moorcroft debt recovery, amongst others, and I am hoping to clear these 2 off in the next 2months.
My queston is, is it worth asking for a settlement figure given that the debts are about £120 and £250 or would that just be cheeky? Or would they even give reduced settlement when the debt is not that big anyway?

Its always worth asking for a f&f and see what they say, and if the f & f is what you can afford to pay then go for it - that's 2 debts bit the dust;)

When would I ask for it cos I know some companies send it in writing and they only last for so many days. So is it pointless asking now if I can't pay til next month?

I'd wait till I had the money, and then if you come to an agreeable figure, send it to them. But get it all in writing first, before sending any money, making sure the figure is what you agreed to. You could maybe write to them a couple of weeks before your money is due, then by the time letters have gone back and forth, you'll have the money to pay them off, if its acceptable to you.
