Hi,
Wondering if anyone can help. Had a court notice for a CCJ with Geoffrey Parker Bourne Ltd for Gothia Limited - I have no idea what Gothia Limited are.
Theres a claim form, a response pack, Admission & defence and counter claim form.
Is it too late to ask for a CCA?
Not really sure what to do

Have you had any previous correspondance in relation to this debt? do you even know what it is for?
If you don't know what it is for then you don't know whether it is a debt covered by a CCA.
When you say a court notice do you mean court papers for you to complete or notification of a CCJ has been granted against you?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Hi Blondie, they are a debt collection agency, I don't know if its too late, but I'm sure someone will be along who can advise:)

Hi - no its a court letter from Northampton Court with papers to complete - nothing granted - yet!
I don't recall anything from them - put to be honest I've been a bit of an ostrich and my head was firmly in the sand - lifting it out now though!
I googled it and apparently its Littlewood Catalogue - I did have an account with them so I'm guessing its them0 -
Shall I just defend the claim stating I do not acknowledge the debt and have no correspondance with Gothia (because I've been through my 'red' draw and nothing from them) and ask for further information?
Would really appreciate some advice as would like to respond to this online today.0 -
Here is a link to the national debtline factsheet on county court judgements http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/factsheet.php?page=20_replying_to_a_county_court_claim_form
If you are certain that you have received nothing from Gothia saying they intend to take you to court or from the original creditor, it would be a good idea to phone National Debtline and get their advice. They have another factsheet for claims that are disputed. You have 14 days to acknowledge service.
A 'prove it' letter to the solicitors would not go amiss either0 -
Will do - thank you very much0
