in Cutting tax
I was wondering just how many self employed people are out there in the UK? if your self employed or work part time i would love to hear from you.
the reason i ask this is that i have set up a website called the self-employed-tax-calculator co.uk to help people with thier self employed tax. now i thought it would get really busy, but it's been a very slow starter.
is there a need for such a tool? if you want to give it a bash, ill give you a free six month trial on it, all you need to do is contact me from the website and ill set it up for you.
have a look, any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

I've been wanting to go self employed for a while, I work on the internet mainly, so I don't see why I get up and travel the 20 odd miles each way every day, to go to glasgow.
It's a bit of a daunting proposition though.0 -
not a big fan of having to sign up for things on the web, especially a new site
I cant see who your target audience is:
High earners: use accounts to offset liabilities etc so have no use for the system
Mid Earners: go to accounts annually- no reason to use the system
Low earners: self assessment through HMRC is easy to use and is free so they would use that
appologies if this isnt what you want to hear but its just the way i see it0 -

Extract from the Forum rules you need to read? In particular as I'm surprised you've got away with all your previous posts similarly being advertising. If you are discussing a field in which you work, make sure you don't tout for business, or mention or refer to your company name/website in any wayIf you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
