https://www.jobsite.co.uk is good too.

I'd quite like to become a recruitment administrator. I have decent admin skills already it just finding someone who will give me a chance. I've got a bit of hr experiance too.In debt no more!0

Do you mean a recruitment administrator in a recruitment agency or within a hr department? Where are you based?0

Alot of the time, job hunting is about being in the right place at the right time. If there's 10 companies near you, write to them, each individually, don't send them a blanket letter. Approach each one from what you know about the company.
Sorry, but I do not rate agencies particularly highly at all. Recruitment agents are not interested in who you are as a person, only that they can shove your CV off to yet another company that probably didn't want it anyway.
HR is really good to get into at the moment, very hot potato as the government are introducing law upon law and the companies are having difficulty keeping up.
The big blue chips are probably better than smaller companies.
Do they really do that? Advertise jobs they dont have?? I must admit they are useless. I've registered with practically everyone in my area and only one is still looking for me!! They register you and don't bother with you after that!
I am interested in HR. I'm working as a temp HR assistant at the mo.In debt no more!0 -

In last few years with a lot/most of jobs being advertised on web,
I have noticed behaviour & attention span of agencies has worsened considerably.
In fact nowadays I never have a sensible conversation with an agency,
as they have short attention span & concentrate on the money
(where they think they can make money with people they can place).
It's a ruthless/cut-throat commission based business.0 -
I have had some great success with agencies both as an employee and employer. My favourite site for job hunting is https://www.totaljobs.com.
It all depends on what you want as a job and how they advertise, I work in sales and allot of companies use agencies. The futures bright the future is Ginger0 -
I would have to agree...agencies are useless.
https://www.jobsgopublic.com is excellent for public sector roles.
https://www.londonjobs.co.uk is also very good for general roles.0
