My mum was in Tesco last night and tried to buy 4 of these T shirts and for curiosity after all that has been said on here took them to the clothing desk to pay. She was refused and given the "recall, product faulty" excuse. The woman behind the desk then took them off and mum kept browsing the clothing section, 5 mins later she saw the woman and a male colleague deciding which two they would have each - so the staff were keeping them for themselves in this case what-ever the proper protocol is meant to be!

That's a bitr mean! By all means the staff should grab bargains, but not when a customer has already nabbed them. Your mum should report to HO.

Well I got a call from tesco ho this morning and she said that they shouldnt have been on sale. When they price somthing on the computer at 1p this means they are supposed to be disposed of.. I mentioned the easter sweets at 1p and even the sel stated the price of 1p , she said they were a different line so had to be cleared quickly due to them having a best before date.

Hope the link works. Story in todays local paper about the Bournemouth store getting a bit heavy with someone taking advantage of this deal.

Got 3 at 1p in the Hull store today! Was going to go through SS but it was the same woman manning it as last time I got busted, so went to a very nice, young lookin g girl who was really chuffed for me to get them at that price, bless.
