Amazon refund

Not sure if this is the right board but I just bought a camera from Amazon which has reduced in price in the 10 days since I bought it.
I thought Amazon used to have a 'price guarantee' that said if they reduced their price soon after you bought an item, you could get the difference back.
Does anyone know if this still applies? I emailed them and was told they don't do it, but I'm sure I read on here that they do (or did).

I let my mind wander and it never came back!
