Just seen in Boots ( galaxy counters ) - promotional packs of Maltesers, Minstrels, Planets, M&M's and Galaxy counters featuring "Bag a Free Film"
To claim a free rental, you need either one unique code from inside the large bag ( over 200gms) two tokens from inside standard packs ( 130 - 170 gms ) or three from inside singles pack. No sending away of empty packets just go on line and download your voucher - valid for 7 days. Alternatively you can have a free 6 week online trial.
Full details here:

For real money saving, if your Boots sell them, they can be part of the £2.99 meal deal
**Standard packs ( 2 required ) are now only 87p each at Asda**

The large 230+g bags are £2 in Tesco until 24/8/10, normally £2.70.

I presume this is Blu-ray too? Free film and a bag of choc for £2, not bad!
Edit: Ignore me, just seen that you need two bags of counters (£2) so it's exactly the same as Tesco. However Mysupermarket says it's the Minstrals that are £2 not the counters.
Tesco's are doing all the big bags for £2 (Minstrals, Malteasers, M&M's, Mars Planets (a lot of M's there) and Revels). They're also doing all the small packs for £3 if you buy two.
Occado's are doing 3 for £6 on the big bags (so it's the same as long as you don't mind buying 3 bags).
ASDA are doing 2 for £3 on the small ones like tescos, although clearly it'll cost you an extra £1 for the same rewards.0 -

Sorry, Camaj, I ought to have made it clearer that I was referring to the large bags in general and not specifically to Counters, which I don't think are produced in large packs of 230+g.
Thanks for the info on what the deals are in other supermarkets too.
Re. your Blu-ray query: as far as I know, yes, the Blockbuster offer does include Blu-ray. I downloaded a voucher to use instore last weekend and it was valid for one rental costing up to £4.50, excluding box sets and games, but I don't think it excluded Blu-ray.
EDIT:
It never occurred to me until now to check the price of a SMALL bag!! Usual price 49p each X 3 bags would make it £1.47 per rental.0 -
I've just figured out a deal that's better than Tesco's £2 for large bag deal.
If you only care about the cheap rental then buying 3 small bags is the cheapest way of doing this, in tescos they're 2 for 80p, so £1.30 for 3 bags. For maximum moneysaving get 6 bags for £2.40, which works out at £1.20 per rental.
OTOH, if you want to maximise quantity, sainsbury's have just started doing 3 mediums for £3, although you only need two bags for a code. If you got 6 bags (£6), you'd end up with three films but a lot more choc than buying 3 large bags. For example there's about 50g more choc when you buy 2 medium bags of M&M's, giving you an extra 150g for the same price as Tesco.
You may need to go on a diet after this though!0 -
Thanks op this is going to be real handy for me
Also I noticed under the faq on the site that
Promotional packs will be in store until 1st November 2010 (29th November 2010 for Multipacks)
"You need to exchange any unused credits for a free film rental on or before 18th February 2011"
So its fab the offer is running until early next year!0 -

I went to put some more codes in and it won't let me until monday night, which is exactly 1week after I did my last code. I can't see anywhere in the T&C where it says you can only rent once a week, which is effectively what this means.
EDIT: Ignore me, I've just re-read the FAQYou can enter as many times as you like throughout the duration of the promotion, however, you can only claim 1 DVD rental in any 7-day period.0 -
hi, if anyone has any unwanted codes please PM them to me and i will give you a big thanks!
thanks0
