£14 Per quarter  how on Earth???? Who's your supplier? Your neighbour by any chance? ;)

I have a PVR and get really irritated because although I would like to switch the TV, DVD and PVR off at the wall, if I do this the PVR looses the channel settings and has to be setup all over again?!! Sure seems like a real waste of energy and bad design by manufacturers who push out products that can't hold this information within their memory and therefore cause us to have to leave them on standby?!!

I should have known, this is just spam. You're advertising your own website/product. I suggest you read the forum rules very carefully.

Also the Domia and Bye Bye Standby modules seem to be far more convenient and cheaper than your product :)

Edit: this was in response to spammer now deleted

£14.00/quarter, assuming 10 per unit, equals 140 units of electricty which is only 1.5 units per day. On average, this equates to an hourly consumption equivalent to just less than a 60watt lightbulb.

It will be less than that even. The cost per kWh will be more than 10p for that very low useage.
