Am I right in thinking that once I have defrosted chicken & cooked it, I canno refreeze it.

I made a Curry and theres quite a bit, and i had some 2morrow.

I used some frozen Veg in it too.

Someone told me, chicken is usually ok to eat the day after you cooked it, so If i cant freeze it, can I definitely not reheat it and eat it 2morrow or any further after?

You can cook defrosted frozen chicken and then freeze it again. This is perfectly OK, I believe.

If the chicken was raw when you defrosted it and you have now cooked it, it will be fine to freeze once. If it was already cooked when you defrosted it, then you can't re freeze it.

If you cooled it quickly and have kept it in the fridge, then it will be fine for up to two days.

Oh really i thought it was a big no no, to refreeze defrosted chicken.

and that you could do it at least once to other Meats

You can refreeze any meat as long as you have cooked it first. And cooked it well is the key.

That won't make any difference to it. I freeze left over slow cooked chicken all the time.
