do debts with eon and late payments with dca go on credit file

if i have a debt with eon thats been passed to buchanan clark and wells and i come to a payment arrangement with them. does this show on my credit file?

    Hi costaerer,

    I’ve had a word with an agent over at BCW and they have advised me that your credit rating shouldn’t be affected by this situation.

    The credit rating would only be affected if BCW have had to get to the legal stages with this, for example raising CCJs or taking out warrants.

    I’d stress that this is only what I’ve been advised so it would probably be worth a call to BCW to check this is the case, at least you have their word then.
