What can I use to make my Wishing Tree

Hi all, I am planning on making a wishing tree but I don't know what branches/twigs to use to give a full tree effect. I keep seeing Manzanita Branches on the internet and they look perfect but I can't seem to find a supplier in the UK! I would prefer a full tree shape rather than a twiggy effect as I am planning on hanging votifs from the branches so it needs to be strong. I don't mind going in search of branches in the great outdoors but have no idea what trees I should be looking out for. So does anyone know of any suppliers or which trees I should be seeking out?
