Update: No response from Barclays so phoned today, they are now claiming Royal mail has lost all the letters including ones the claim to have resent. They have no intention of refunding any money and claim we had to let the debt collector in.
I am beyond mad at them.Barclaycard 3800

Have you thought about writing to the Time or the Telegraph money section?
They look into cases like this and follow up, 19 letters should not "go astray"
It must be extremely stressful for you.0 -
As for the moron who tried to push past you into your home...i would report him to the police (not 999 now), they will take it seriously especially if you say you had your child with you at the time.0

I would also consider reporting Sharkleys to the OFT,trading standards & the financial ombudsman service as well.0

Case has been handed over to the financial ombudsman in the hope they can get somewhere. I intend to fight all the way on this one.Barclaycard 3800

Have you received other written correspondence from them - annual statements on your mortgage, anything?Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
We get our annual statements through fine, which makes it seem dodgy that all the letters they claim to have sent us allowing them to add these charges go missing.Barclaycard 3800
