Suitable make up for hot flushes and the heat

Hi, I am suffering from hot flushes which makes this heat even more unbearable. I don't know what make up to wear. I don't like mineral powder so I don't use that, I just have liquid foundation or tinted moisturiser, both of which slide off my face. I have dry, mature skin so don't want anything too powdery.

Any advice welcome :)

I've recently had a few 'strangely warm' episodes myself - late forties & my Mum had a fairly early menopause so I suspect that's why the hot weather has been affecting me more than usual. I'm fair skinned/not very greasy and spend a lot of time outside, so I've been wearing a paraben free/mineral oil free factor 50 on my face, then when that has been smoothed in, I use a Revlon green tinted primer (very cheap on eBay) on my nose & a little over my cheeks to hide some of the flushing. I've only very recently discovered mineral powder makeup (didn't think I'd like it at first) and after a few duff buys, I found the M&S one to be pretty nice. It's not too powdery/drying. Also, if I need to wash the lot off as I've been 'glowing'... I can refresh the green and a quick swirl of the big brush makes me look human again!
