GAME Deal of the Week bargains

Don't know if this is a well known fact or not. Went in to my local game today and saw they had True Crime New York and Xmen Legends II (think that was what it was called) on PS2 at 4.99 when you buy another item as the deals of the week, T& Cs apply.
I decided to be cheeky and went to the till and asked if to get this price i had to buy another item could i just take both to the till and let them count against each other ... therefore 2 brand new games for £9.98. Anyway much to my surprise the manager said that there are t and cs but if the till lets you - he is happy .... and it worked.
SO long and short of story is if you want a GAME deal of the week and you can't bear to pay for a normal item to get it - try taking another deal of the week or 2 copies to beat the system. Could potentially save you £££s.
Hope this makes sense and is not old news.

You also missed we have Brother in Arms - Earned in Blood on PC, and Sonic Riders on xbox for £4.99 each, and its not cheeky to take the discount off each other - everyone's done it for eons, and the till coding works all the same.
