HI have you looked on Marks and Spencer or Waitrose? They do made to order Cakes and they're lovely and taste great too!

Most of the big supermarkets sell wedding cakes far far less than this.

Wait till more people come along and tell you how delicious they are.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

M&s can do individual tiers for you to decorate to your own liking. Currently on 3 for 2.

Where abouts in Scotland are you getting married? Hoping that some people on here may know some locals that will be able to help you out if you are looking for something specific and personal to you.

I was just away to say Scotland is a big place, an idea of the area would be good. ;)

I am making my own and getting somebody to ice the cake with ready to roll icing. Does anybody know how to ice the bottom wedding cake board?

Hi missnixon - I made both my wedding cakes and iced them too, it's actually pretty straight forward and very MSE :money:

There are loads of video tutorials on youtube which were very useful. To find what you are looking for just search for "icing a cake board" or similar wording.

Someone the H2b works with has offered to ice it for us, for just the cost of the ingredients - she wants to practice! She wont do any worse a job than I would! Wil make my cakes which is not a problem at all but was scared about even trying to ice them.

My nana offered to buy us a cake last night but I have turned her down. This is one part I am particularly looking forward to getting my teeth into! So to speak!
