Hi
My mum has been approached by this company and asked to pay a fairly large sum of money on her credit card in retern for training and mentoring that they say should see her make her money back before she has to pay the credit card bill.
she signed up and didn't manage to cancel before their 3 day limit. her credit card company queried the amount with her and declined it with her authority. they then tried again with 2 ammounts that were smaller but add up to the same amount. this got through the credit card company and has left her account.
she is going to put this in dispute but as she didn't cancel within the timescale is not hopeful.
she therefore thinks she may as well take the training on offer which would start today.
I have said this may make it hard to put it in dispute but she feels as she is unlikely to get her money back she may as well go ahead. I am worried about her ending up losing more money to them as I cannot find out much about them and how they operate.
Does anyone know anything about this company?
Thanks
Jo x

despite the above url the page is alled Achieve which makes me suspect they change the name all the time

I am kicking myself that I got scammed by these guys, hopefully, I can stop the credit card payment of nearly $10,000! as I have not signed their agreement or used any access to material and I will be able to send a cancellation letter within the 3 day statutory limit. I have already notified my credit card company and have the other reports about Resultzzs

    thanks browntoa,
luckily the amount is considerably less than that but still substantial.
unfortunately money has already left her account and she didn't cancel within 3 days.
Am just worried that they will continue to take payments from her card. however can't find any reports of that happening at least but haven't checked out the other company name yet.
    Thanks again

I am all too familiar with this company. I signed up with them back in April and can vouch that they are a legitimate company and they do offer genuine training on internet marketing and online retailing. They are an american based company and their middle name is 'hard sell'. I am interested to know how much they charged your mother because I have a feeling they set arbitrary amounts every time. The enrollment team are VERY persuasive and tell you everything you want to hear. You WILL make money. We are the best training team around. Double your income in 3 months...blah blah. I heard it all and eventually yeilded. whether it was a bad decision or not is yet be revealed, as i will explain.
When i handed over my money (a cringe inducing £2k), I was told very clearly that this would cover not just the training, but also the online materials. website, mentoring, etc and most importantly.. some advertising for the site once it was up and running. Meaning I was paying a large sum initially, that i wouldnt need to pay for stuff later on. and being quite a trusting (possibly niave) and more importantly, vulnerable, young person (meaning I only went to them to get myself out of debt) they soon had me reaching for my credit card. Every new business starts with an investment, it seemed fair enough to me at the time, and I really wanted to start making some money, I just wanted to give myself the best possible start. And that is what they appeared to have sold me.
Ok so 3 months down the line, what have I learned? Well...it's a mix bag of emotions really. lets start with the bad. Even after I had paid £2k!!! :'( (every time i say it a little piece of me dies inside) they then wanted me to pay $39.95 per month! for the life of my site! for their omni-website builder. Fair enough i thought, a small monthly bill to keep my site alive. Then I had to pay $10 for a domain name (that's right $10 on top of a £2k downpayment for a frikkin domain name) . Understandably I was getting a little frustrated but continued on with the training and website building regardless, trying to remove any negative thought or doubt. By the way while all this is going on I am also having to foot a bill for about £120 per month in credit card payments.
Every week I got a phone call from my mentor in america, who follows your progress and talks you through your website building and sets you tasks for next week etc. Friendly enough, but never missed an oppurtunity to direct you to one of their personal money making websites in the hope of generating a little extra commission on the side. A tad devious but quite helpful regardless. Every week I would ask my mentor when I would be seeing my money be put to use and why I couldnt use the money to pay for stuff like domain names and the like...
Every week I would get a similar response "Unfortunately the downpayment does not cover that, we will discuss your investment at a later stage" Every week I was given the same story (little to my knowledge they were trying to keep me sweet until the end of the mentoring stage when the full investment amount becomes non-refundable). So we reach the end of the mentoring stage but my mentor assures me that this doesnt mean no more communication, it just means there are no further scheduled phone sessions, which to be honest has been the case. And the team are still only a phone call or email away.
Continuing the negative theme (im afraid) I have since been trying to contact my enrollment officer, who sold me the training package (under what I deem to be false information), simply to discuss and try and resolve the small issue of my TWO THOUSAND POUND investment ;_; I fear that a full refund is out of the question now I have taken the training but it would still be nice to talk to the guy and give him a piece of my mind. However...every time I ring up (on an international rate number of course) I get immediatly diverted to a voicemail which is promptly ignored. I have left several messages over the last couple of weeks and sent emails requesting a conversation which also i recieve no reply. NOT REALY THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT I EXPECT FROM A COMPANY I HAVE PAID £2000 TO!

And the part you've all been waiting for....Has ANYTHING good come of this?!?
    Well...in a word... YES.
I HAVE learned A GREAT DEAL about online marketing, keyword research, niche targeting, web designing, blog writing, dropshipping, ecommerce, heck even some html coding! and all the rest of the valuable information contained in their training guides. This i can appreciate.
I DO have a working, functioning, browsable and google registered website with the potential of making real life sales earning me some real life money. For this I CAN be greatful, because without the training I just wouldn't have been able to do such a thing.
And maybe the main reason for me writing this very long post here now is that today is the day my 3 months of hard work has actually paid off and I made my very first geniune sale! An item that I went to the trouble of looking for a supplier, and contacting sales staff day after day and generating a sales page and issusing the invoice has actually been sold because of me..........!!!!............with about £14 profit! LOL

Sure.... Im still technically -£2486 out of pocket. But I do have a fully working and revenue generating business, which I can keep working on and building. I wont be giving up my day job right away but I feel this is a step in the right direction ...for a change!!

Look, as far as achieve technologies goes...they are not a bad company. I feel a little disapointed in the way I have been treated over my investment but if the final product is a business that I own and reap all the beneits from, then i feel it is a worthy investment. I don't think they are a scam or a fraudulent company and they will not disappear from the face of the earth, even though it may be the end of the earth before i eventually contact my enrollment guy!

Thankyou metrix for taking the time to reply so thoroughly.
I noticed that you said by the end of your mentoring your investment was non-refundable. does that mean you saw some information that said it was refundable if you didn't take/complete the mentoring?
my mums amount was less than yours and it does seem that they indirectly check you out to get a feel for what you can afford before telling you the cost.
I really hope it works out for you. however, it seems it will take a lot longer to reap back the investment than they tell people, if at all. That is a big risk to take on such a large amount of money especially for my mum.
she declined the training call today saying she had emailed them to cancel and to ask the not to take the money (which had already been taken by the time they rang) so they said they will reply to her email. will see what they say. don't hold out much hope for them just giving it back though.
having googled resultzzs and omni-site it sounds like a very poor company borderlining on scamming if not actually scamming.
I am glad you feel you can use what you have learned in a positive way and claw your money back. more power to you.

Can your mum not get the money back from the CC company? After all, they know she declined one payment, so should not have let two others go through without checking. Especially as together they amounted to the declined payment.

Thanks Geordie Joe. She has put it in dispute with CC company. So we'll see what happens. She declined the phone training which I am glad about.
