Morning All,
This is my first post on Martin's forum, however I have used the site for a while now and have found it very helpful! Thanks
I am currently dealing with my debts and trying to work out a budget.
I currently pay a contribution of around £80 a month towards my student loan. This is taken out of my wages directly by PAYE.
Is there any way that you can request to pause this payment, as I feel that the money would be a lot better spent elsewhere at this moment in time!
Thanks in advance for any advice you may be able to give....

No.
Since it's taken out pre-tax, just treat it as if you never had it to begin with
