The T&C's say that I can enter up to five times per phone number... does that mean I can have ten entries using my house number and my mobile number... only I feel quite guilty doing that! Ha ha ha! Amy x

i saw this on tv & thought
oh my gosh what a prize if i won i prob wdnt be around to spend it,
id collapse with sheer shock, can i just ask please if i have a landline & 4 mobile no's in the family
could i enter with all of them? i wont cos thats greedy maybe, just asking
  • I don't understand why ITV allow you to enter their competitions 5 times per phone number. Surely it would make it much fairer giving everyone an equal chance of winning and less open to abuse if it was one entry per person / household.

I just enter 5 times with one number. If its really 5 entries per phone number then you could just get loads of free PAYG SIM cards and enter 5 times on each. Makes no sense to me!

You could.....but you've got to be able to answer the phone to get your prize, from what I've seen on the 'I Won' board they don't leave messages, they call then, then call again later.

It used to be per household but it was probably a nightmare for ITV to administer. There were probably a load of idiots who tried to beat the system by entering from different locations with different phone numbers and changing their IP address. If it's per telephone number ITV can very easily enforce that rule.

I imagine there probably are people out there who have bought loads of cheap phones for this very purpose. If it's within the ITV rules though there's not much that can be done about it. (For future reference it would probably be better to ask these sort of questions in the comps discussion thread.)
  • I'm guessing the reason is 5 per phone number is to encourage people entering my SMS to enter more than once which is where they are generating their revenue.

Great prize but I miss the daily competitions they used to do.

IMO it's much better that 5 people win 7 grand each than 1 person wins £30k+. I guess they must make more money from a large weekly comp.

    Good luck folks :)
